Some love stories begin with a meet-cute, Jake and Kara's began with a swipe.

They then met in a barrel shaped bar. The warmth they showed each other that night was immortalized by the graffiti Kara captured outside.

Their adventure together began, taking their first of many trips together to Solvang, CA. In this Danish town they shared a smorgasbord of their hopes, fears and dreams.

Then tragedy struck. Kara needed to find an emergency flight home. Jake stuck by her side and after a long night traversing through airports and surviving LAX traffic - they confessed their love for each other.

Their love grew to include one more as Dodger McGee Johnson joined the fold.

Together, they survived a pandemic - taking shelter in Jake's tiny Burbank condo.

They moved in together officially, finding their first home on Lomita St.

More than just their house, this became the central location for the many events and parties they shared with their wonderful friends.

Their adventures continued as they explored the world together. They visited 16 national parks, 8 countries and countless giftshops.

With treasures to share with them from their journeys - Jake and Kara introduced their families to each other for the first time.

Then under the glow of the image that symbolized their passion, in the yard of the home they made together and in the presence of many of their incredible friends - they got engaged.

Ready to start the rest of their lives together they packed up everything they had and made their way back East.

They landed in Stamford, CT where they currently reside.

Now they prepare to declare their love and commitment to each other in the presence of all of you - the most important people in their lives.
