Kara loves to tell everyone she found her two favorite boys on the internet.Jake and Kara met online in 2017. They went on their first date at a barrel-shaped bar called Idle Hour in North Hollywood, CA. They talked for hours about their jobs in the entertainment industry, their favorite shows, and Kara's famous pet fish, Alejandro.Over the years, they've planned some killer parties, traveled all over the world, and even got to work on a television show together.Their most fulfilling accomplishment, and still their greatest challenge, was adopting their dog Dodger in 2019. He's a fiery little chihuahua who keeps them on their toes, but they wouldn't have it any other way.After getting engaged in September 2024, Jake and Kara knew they wanted to move back to the east coast to be closer to their families. So they packed up a tiny sedan full of their stuff and adventured across the country. They now live in Stamford, CT, and Kara is ALMOST used to the cold weather.
